A winning Recipe from 2017 Newport Cocktail Wars

  • 2oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • 1.5oz. Cold Press Kiwi Cocktail Juice
    • Kiwis for approx. 12oz. juice
    • Limes for approx. 2oz. juice
    • Fresh Ginger for approx. 2oz. juice
    • Agave Nectar for approx. 2oz. juice
  • Cardamom
  • Himalayan Pink Sea Salt or similar
  • Fresh Mint
  • Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc 
  1. Slap mint, muddle lightly.
  2. Add vodka and juice.
  3. Add ice and shake vigorously.
  4. Double strain and serve up in glass.
  5. Top with sauvignon blanc.
  6. Garnish with fresh kiwi slice.

To make Kiwi Cocktail Juice:

  1. Juice the kiwis and hand squeeze limes adding the juice from the fresh ginger into mixture.
  2. Then add the agave nectar and cardamom to taste.  
  3. Add a pinch Himalayan pink sea salt.

Irish Eyes

  • 2oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • 3 Basil Leaves
  • 1.5oz. Balsamic Vinegar 
  • 1/2 cup Strawberry Puree, sweetened with sugar or honey
  • Seltzer

A winning recipe from 2017 Newport Cocktail Wars

  1. Muddle basil leaves with balsamic vinegar.
  2. Combine with strawberry puree.
  3. Add Broken Shed Vodka and top off with seltzer.

Thyme to Shine

A winning recipe from 2017 Newport Cocktail Wars

Pour together in a glass:

  • 1.5oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • 1.5oz. Rosé wine
  • 1oz. of Blackberry/Plum syrup

If you’re feeling fancy, garnish with blackberry thyme espuma (foam), starfruit, and red amaranth.


Urban Shed

  • Broken Shed Vodka
  • Cointreau
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Fresh Lime
  1. Add 3 parts Broken Shed to 1.5 parts of both cointreau and cranberry juice.
  2. Add about 1 part fresh squeezed lime.
  3. Add ice, shake and pour into a cocktail glass with a lime garnish.

For an even more cosmopolitan approach, skip the cranberry juice and about 1.5 parts of cranberry simple syrup, which you can make by adding a couple cups of cranberries to your simple syrup recipe and straining the syrup.


The Williamsburg

A nontraditional take on the Cosmo served in a rocks glass with a splash of sparkling wine or prosecco. Refreshing, but not too sweet to savor — the bubbles just make you feel cooler.

  • Broken Shed Vodka
  • Cointreau
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Lemon or Lime or Orange
  1. Use an Urban Shed as the base and add a couple of healthy splashes of bubbles to the top.
  2. Garnish with large slice of lemon, orange or the citrus of your choice.

Broken Flower

  • 2oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • 2oz. Soda Water
  • Elderflower Liqueur
  • Cucumber
  1. Pour Broken Shed Vodka with soda water.
  2. Add a healthy drop of elderflower liqueur.
  3. Serve over ice with a cucumber garnish.

Broken Basil

  • 2oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • 1oz. Passionfruit Juice
  • 1oz. Apple Juice
  • Basil Leaves
  1. Pour Broken Shed Vodka, passionfruit juice and apple juice together.
  2. Add crushed basil leaves.
  3. Serve over crushed ice for a refreshing, flavorful cocktail.

Broken Heart

  • 2oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • 1oz. Pomegranate and or Cranberry juice
  • 1oz. Triple Sec or Cointreau
  1. Pour all ingredients together.
  2. Shake with ice.
  3. Strain to a martini glass.
  4. Garnish with pomegranate seeds.

Golden Shed

  • 3oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • Orange 
  1. Served pure over ice.
  2. Garnish with orange zest.

SPARKLING SHED

  • 3oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • 2oz. Prosecco
  • Orange
  1. Pour Broken Shed Vodka with prosecco.
  2. Garnish with fresh orange wedge.
  3. Served on the rocks.

Broken Bloody

  • 2oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • 4oz. Tomator Juice or (Clamato®)
  • 5 Second Shake of Worcestershire Sauce®
  • 2 Second Shake of Tabasco®
  • Sherry
  • Lemon
  • Celery
  • Salt
  • Ground BlackPepper
  1. Pour ingredients together.
  2. Add a hint of dry sherry.
  3. Add generous squeeze of lemon.
  4. Shake with ice.
  5. Garnish with celery, salt & ground black pepper.

Sgroppino Shed

  • 2oz. Lemon Sorbet
  • 2oz. Broken Shed Vodka
  • 2oz. Prosecco
  1. Mix half the prosecco with the sorbet.
  2. Add Broken Shed Vodka with the remaining prosecco.
